    And then our principal had a meetings with us to wish us well etc etc and she did something she'd never done before; she gave us an early mark! Most people stayed for a while longer and we did our traditional year 12 lap around the school at lunch and went crazy lol. Then i went to parra with a few mates and we just bummed :)

    My day was pretty good. I had a free 1st period where we went around taking photos in the school. Then we had our chem party where we basically wrote all over the board, got out chem presents and ate food. Then i had maths which was of course photos and more food. Miss brought in cake and lollies for us in modern which we ate, we took photos and gave her her present for being such an awesome teacher. Afterwards i cried for a bit when i realised I'd never had another modern lesson :/

    haha i actually wanted to play the tenor instead of alto tbh because i do agree it has more to offer, and the range you can hit is superior imo. my problem was that i'd broken a few fingers a little before i decided to start playing so tenor was too heavy for me to carry around all the time. i have played a friends tenor a bit but alto is my thing for now :D

    i'm not really playing atm because i dont have a band anymore :( working on joining one through uni next year though (i havent been able to make rehearsals due to work this year)

    do you play in a band? i played in school orchestra and stuff for a fair while too

    i play piano, clarinet and alto sax... mostly played alto in the stage band but filled in on piano once or twice and brought my clarinet along for a solo once. alto is definitely my instrument of choice though. nothing beats it in versatility. do you play anything?

    at the moment i particularly love the 'chicken' genre of jazz :eek:

    YouTube - Manhattan Transfer Birdland i played in a stage band for 4 years and this is one of the greatest songs. though this is a vocal version. more funk than jazz but yeah, you might like it

    hey :) i've been pretty good, with the exception of mass uni assignments and guy issues :p but mid sem break now so yay!

    had a bit of a stalk in your 'about me' - what type of jazz/blues do you like?

    Good afternoon :)

    Well we only did work in modern history (got a nice revision lesson on Stalin) because we're having our party on Monday. Maths was pretty much photos and we wasted half of it finding a teacher who was selling Crispy Cremes (found her and man they were good). Physics was just our own revision and i learnt that Leptons means "Light ones" while Baryons mean "Heavy ones". We had our English party (no more english!) and we basically ate cake, got some mayan worry sucking wristband and a "I love Darcy" or other Pride and Prejudice badge. In chem we filmed our skit and it was sooo funny because Monique broke a micro tested in it XD

    We also had a grade photo/singing together thing happening on at lunch lol.

    also, i cant find any reason to go to any other uni for engineering other than unsw.
