Dot Point workbooks are good if you do the questions and get them checked and marked by a teacher or a tutor (lol) regularly. Personally, I found that this worked best with Chemistry, and that it didn't work at all with Physics. Do not mark your responses by checking the solutions at the back of...
Well I just took the inequality and worked backwards, differentiating each chunk before splitting the inequalities and proving each side seperately.
For most inequality questions, I usually take the answer and work backwards first. Works brilliantly most of the time.
Jacaranda is an atrocious textbook for physics. As Quantum College has mentioned, Physics in Focus is the textbook you should use. Jacaranda overloads you with information that is virtually useless and completely off the point, yet I don't think I can recall it completely covering the syllabus...
Hmm I'm not entirely sure about your claims. I was in year 12 last year and I don't recall anyone studying that much, except for perhaps during the awkward period between trials and the HSC exams. I don't think I studied every week, let alone every day. However, I did do some light reading every...
Hmm well I'll just leave a few tips that I didn't follow for future interviewees
1. Don't compare doctors to dentists in terms of pay.
2. Don't imply that doctors pretend to be empathetic.
3. Don't critique the questions they give you.
4. Don't mention your fallen high school enemies.
Read the special considerations lol.
I've said some things in the interviews which I shouldn't have said. Some interviewers did appear quite ticked off by the end...
Issue is I couldn't exactly apply through anything with QTAC due to identity issues apparently. But I think I still have the Graduate Course Entry thingie at UniMelb available, so I guess I've got that going for me, which is nice.
Inkjoys are cheap and fast, but they can smudge quite a bit if you can't keep your writing up. A more expensive option would be Uni Power Tanks, which I found were really good. However, they're also very pricey and they run out very quickly.
Also, I have used Mont Blanc pen refills (with a Mont...
I regret doing HSC physics but I'm not sure what I would have done in its place. It's a subject that pretends to be physics, but is really full of utter crap.
2/10 would not recommend physics.
