As related, Im doing an Australian Novel 'My Brilliant Career' by Miles Franklin which is quite good and not really overdone at all. Also, thinking of doing Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy which seems to link well with the whole I&S genre.
I need to find a related text for Pride and Prejudice and North and South and have the two books Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy and Vanity Fair by Thakeray. Can anyone please tell me which text would be good/ better as a related in order to explore ideas such as marriage and social class?
thanks
