I've never done programming before and I found COMP1911 quite challenging but very rewarding, especially when your programs work the way you want them to. Of course I can't comment on COMP1917, but for 1911 just make sure you do all your labs to get lots of practise and start your assignments...
As others have said, it's in the course outline. I was sitting on 51% overall b4 the exam, but hopefully I get a 'satisfactory' mark for the exam :S. Really don't wanna repeat this subject...
