Any advice or ideas for an existentialist concept for a 2D major work?

Fellow dramatists.... I was wondering what your perspectives were on a person taking on a whole Chicago/jazz/musical take on either an individual or group performance..... any replies would be greatly appreciated..thanks ever so much....
