I tried to get the personalities bit in too with a bit of discussion on the nautre of their rebellion as shaped by Winston's and Julia's respective attitudes.

My two characters were Bill and Fred. I was going to have "Bill and Ted's excellent adventures", as I figured that between their hair and their time travel, they'd be able to comment pretty well on differing contexts etc. Somehow, I can't go without that name 'Fred' however. My conversation...

Jane - our ext 1 English standards package came with Individual and Society (thats what we're doing) in it... I remember it clearly, because our class dissected it to pieces for why it should have been Band E2 instead of Band E3/E4.. lol.

Hrmm. My Eng teacher said that if they ask on a specific poem, they will supply it as well. So as long as you understand the poems (meanings and language), you won't need to learn them all completely by heart.
