The essays get worse and worse as the course progressed. I'm content with only knowing the Spirit of Capitalism and Panopticism, and a bit of simulacra and Claire Johnston's DI Stuffff it. You guys seem way more prepared than me.

Re: Post your Semester 2 timetable I probably will do INFO1003. I'll check up on the other threads to see if it's hard/easy/interesting etc. I'm sure I'll need the knowledge sometime in my life, esp. as whatever career path I choose (all 'production' related) will surely involve IT systems...

all very good ideas. it's the 19th and I havent started studying. don't know the texts front to back either. I wonder if I'll even passs... but I'll get to studying those essays/concepts etc. Not sure if my lecture "notes" will help too much though. ah this subject has been hell.

Dropped it. Have to pay the $400-600ish HECS later on, but whatever. Shat unit. Dropped Sociology 2 for Sem 2 as well.

Currently in first year doing B Arts at USYD (2007 cut-off 83 point something) wanting to transfer to B Digital Media at COFA (2007 cut off 85.2) 2007 UAI: 84.3 GPA: ? No idea. It's only Sem 1. 2007 UAI cut-off: 85.2 What sort of GPA would I need? Not really sure how GPA works...

So what if I discontinue without failure (DNF) after March 31? Isn't it, the fees are kept on my transcript, but there will be no failure recorded on the academic transcript??
