Not really the case now with the Melbourne model in place. There is no ugrad law available anymore. Doing commerce ugrad then law grad will be the norm for most people wanting to be high achievers.

My pwc offer package was waiting for me when I got home today. Theres a folder with offer letter and contract and some blank paper inside as well as a 1gb ipod shuffle. No pen or business cards though :( I actually got private client services when I had put down assurance. Very happy about it...

Anyone know how long it takes PwC to send off the offer package once u have recieved the phone call. I got the phone call on Thursday and was hoping to get it today but nothing has come. Also do I have to be home to recieve it or can they just leave it outside my door or in the letterbox?

I talked to a guy at pwc on conquest day who had been working for a year and a half, so a grad starting in 2007. He said on his contract it was 45k but then was boosted to 50k before he even started. Since then he has had 2 raises of 5k each and one little promotion.

A guy at PwC who worked with HR told us that the outstanding candidates are called up 3 hours after. Most people get called up the next day. The longer it is the less chance you have but as long as you havn't got the official rejection you're still in with a chance. I think they are very close...

Website just lists all the possible stages. Its different depending where you are though. In melbourne it was just online test then conquest then offer. You might get asked a couple of questions of why do u want to work for pwc etc when they call and inform you of the next stage.

Pwc's process is very random. A couple of my friends got a call and a mini phone interview then was told to check their emails to do their online test. I got an sms to inform me of it. Then recieved a call the next day also telling me about the test. I was expecting to be asked a few questions...

This may be kinda a stupid question but does pwc have a co op program? I remember not being able to find it when trying to apply and could only do the vac. Ive now got the conquest assessment next wednesday and the emails says its for co op. I'm quite happy that is for co op but would that mean...
