i say its easier to think through it with a bit of old fashion logic, obviously the term will be independent when x^3 is divided by x^3. ie 6C3(x)^3(-1/x)^3 = -6C3 =-20. Saves me a lot of working and can work for ones a bit more complex too if you just think about it

uses nails or fingertips is just prefference, some ppl rather either one, and u shouldnt get marked down cause of that, if u really want u can get pingerpicks and a thumb pick. Im a fingerpicker, play a lot of leo kottke, and i just use finger, mainly cause im lazy, but eh your choice

listen to leo kottke's 6 and 12 string guitar and come back and say that guitar is crap. 12 string guitar is the mini orchestra in itself. if you are talking about pop mainstream rock guitar then i understand

the thing is that you must play to your audience to a certain extent, choose variety to showcase your talent.. saying hey i can play anything!, the markers will warm more to something they can appreciate, so something weird that only you like and not many other people wont be received as well
