my school has one! and thats me... which is good cos my teacher and i have a blast.. picking on the stupid historians! but i was a little disappointed to hear that the other people were dropping out... im lucky it still runs... it wouldnt have run at all had i been the only one to show initial...

i went in for my english exam and found that my paper was taken from the board of studies website... rather than original questions... i was lucky that i had already seen the paper before (at least the journeys part) i think i did well. The same happened in my ext hist exam... i have also done...

i agree with you here... out of all of the speeches gettysberg address is probly on of my faves too! despite the harsh criticism of its day its a pretty straight to the point...interesting speech... it conveys its message well and swiftly... i can appreciate that!

we have such an airy fairy teacher for speeches... this isnt an excuse to do poorly but im just hoping that what shes telling us is right... yeah the main ones are king goldman lincoln and socrates... id like to get to know the other ones... do u think ud gain marks for quoting from the lesser...

yeah we had to do that... i did horse with no name (which a chick in my class plagerised from me), charlie and the chocolate factory and Mulga Bill's Bicycle by banjo patterson... i think theyre a little pedestrian for advanced but i tried the easy route... they were pretty straight forward...

yeah... year 12 should know already how to study... not that my school helps u out with that idea... my business and legal teacher (same for each) tells me i should be doin 2 hours every day... 20% for ext hist! i think mine is 5% if anything at all... isnt your major history project worth...

my english on is on this friday... cant say im looking forward to it... its comforting to know that im not the only one with motivation issues! i think my problem with exams is that i get in there and i think too much rather than taking each question as it comes...

i was thinking of heading up to darwin to see some friends and then make my way down the gold coast and bak home! is surfers no good? apparently theres a P&O cruise to some islands for 8 days that some people in my year are going on. i dont think i have anyone to go with so im pretty stuffed!

hmm your right! theres one sleep til yr 12! i didnt recieve alot of information on the topic of yr 12 STRUCTURE. like i said, and its quite evident, im a new member!

i know prelim doesnt count to HSC but how similar/different are the two in structure?:confused:

do you really think prelims are pointless? im not sure! i'd like to think that, but i think i care too much!
