    Australian Maths Competition

Thanks Tywebb. From your post first saw that Dr. Chatawut Chanvanichskul has made the 2023 AMC papers available, but he has set them to view only. Cannot even download, however he's doing better than AMT for interested people, with his putting up last year's papers. Saw you put up solutions...

CASIO fx-8200 AU - new calculator coming next year.

That's interesting, but can't figure why the Casio employee would say that, with why the reduction would help Casio's reputation. I can't remember, but believe the FX-82AU Plus 2nd Edition and the FX-100AU Plus 2nd Edition might only have been out about 3 or 4 years. Probably from next year...

(subject selection) is it too much for workload?

It's scary to think they'd expose students to all of C, C#, and Java, as well as Python, HTML (with CSS). C# and Java to do in depth other than the basic language constructs will take a while... (subject selection) is it too much for workload?

(subject selection) is it too much for workload?

Good points about how each of the courses have content focused on particular parths in IT. However, I doubt either course by themselves is enough to become either a professional software developer or professional data or business analyst right after HSC. I'd expect students on the path to seek a...

(subject selection) is it too much for workload?

IPT has been easier than SDD, but too early to say if the new Software Engineering will be more difficult than new Enterprise Computing. I'd guess at the moment, NESA would've made them similarly challenging. Have you looked at the NESA Course Specification for Software Engineering. Python...

Were you allowed to keep your graduation caps and cloaks?

Had to hire the gown and cap for university graduation too. Nothing special about the Year 12 graduation clothing, and what use it afterwards?
