the difficulty of 90+ really depends on the person, there's no absolute measure of 'how hard it is' to get 90+ But generlaly speaking, 90+ means you need to be in the top 16% of the HSC population This could be 'hard' if you're not a studious person, if you're surrounded by unmotivated...

That's not entirely correct. Ext2's high scaling is due to the generally high achievement levels of Ext2 students in other subjects compared to the achievement levels of non-Ext2 students in their other subjects. Read this for more info. Theoretically, Ext2 can scale really low if its students...

my teacher told me dot-point spam should be a last resort :) obviously try to write a proper essay in the given time, but always be looking at the lock to ensure you have some time left to adequately dot-point spam e.g. decide whether u need to do so in the last 5 or so minutes

English syllabi are just 'rubriks' and everything is written in extremely general terms - its not helpful at all science syllabi are indispensible, however
