At Usyd STAT is only for pharmacy and veterinary science. You can sit it more than once, definitely, but you can only sit it once per year. So if you sit it in June 2011 you have to wait until June 2012 to be able to sit it again.

Hey guys! I have a question about admittance to the University of Sydney's BVSc. I have just finished a non-science degree at USyd with a fairly high D average (but not HD) and 200/200 on the STAT test. But I'm really worried that my application will fall down when it comes to my commitment...

I'm reasonably sure it's external. I got 49 for external (note that you don't automatically get nominated for 49 or 50) and 47 for internal, and got nominated. Does that answer your question?

Even more brilliance! Finally got around to contacting student admin (because after a week they still hadn't specified my specialisation) and now I'm definately a Musicology student. Ftw!

I got 49 in the end, and my UAI was 96.3, which gets me what I want. So I'm happy.
