Third Year Visceral Anatomy or Social Psyc. Anyone know about either?

Can't vouch for psych but if you take visceral you'll be taught by my boyfriend, and he says the course is absolutely ace.

    Vet/Animal related courses

Well if you study psychology at university, you can pursue (basically) one of two paths. Your first degree would be a bachelor of arts (or something similar) with a major in psychology, and then if you wanted to become a psychologist you would have to do further postgraduate study (ie. a very...

    Vet/Animal related courses

Education just means being an educator, which could be in any setting - you could be employed by a zoo to give talks about the animals or conservation projects, or you could be a consultant who provides information for new pet owners. You could be a science teacher but you'd have to go to uni...

    Question about STAT

At Usyd STAT is only for pharmacy and veterinary science. You can sit it more than once, definitely, but you can only sit it once per year. So if you sit it in June 2011 you have to wait until June 2012 to be able to sit it again.

    Veterinary science commitment statement

Thanks so much man! That info from the vet faculty is really useful and gives me a lot of hope! I've heard so many conflicting reports - people keep telling me that getting 150/200 in the STAT is just a hurdle, but the vet faculty told me that you want to aim for at least 170/200 so clearly...

    Veterinary science commitment statement

Hey guys! I have a question about admittance to the University of Sydney's BVSc. I have just finished a non-science degree at USyd with a fairly high D average (but not HD) and 200/200 on the STAT test. But I'm really worried that my application will fall down when it comes to my commitment...

    Music Skills Test

Hope this is not too late to reply: I sat the MST two years ago, and found it not terribly hard, bearing in mind that I never did AMEB and all my theory came from high school + HSC music 2. Am trying to remember vaguely what it contained... I seem to recall some general knowledge questions...

To be shortlisted for the Showcase...

I'm reasonably sure it's external. I got 49 for external (note that you don't automatically get nominated for 49 or 50) and 47 for internal, and got nominated. Does that answer your question?

    young writer's showcase 2007

Got an email this afternoon this morning from Colette Batha letting me know that my major work didn't make it in, so it's likely that the actual notification for those who got in will be out at around the same time. Good luck, everyone!

Audition/Competition at Syd Con and UNSW

After all, there's also B Music Studies which isn't as intense as the B Mus (a more general music education), or you can even take your main instrument as a minor study. Or if you're good with other musical things you can take composition or musicology major, even in music ed, if you think your...

    BOS Showcase: 2007 Major Works

BOS gave me 49/50. Now, seriously, what did I lose that one mark for?

    I got into the Con!

Even more brilliance! Finally got around to contacting student admin (because after a week they still hadn't specified my specialisation) and now I'm definately a Musicology student. Ftw!

I got 49 in the end, and my UAI was 96.3, which gets me what I want. So I'm happy.
