it seems like a lot of ppl have their's second week! we have ours first week :p tues. i hope they don't mark the first week ppl harder than the second week!

Hi everyone! when do u guys have ur hsc performance?

what happens if you have been rather consistent in ur marks, that is for 1/2 yrly's and assessments, getting in high 80s, and low 90s but then in trials, u suddenly leap down to 70s/80s. (this is for eng. adv. btw). will this affect ur uai? would the trial mark be scaled up if u did well in the hsc?

yeh we did cssa too. melodic dictation was hard - lucky perfect pitch ppl got it straight away..grrr

oh.. ur only staying there for 3 weeks?? oh welz.. at least u'll be there for new yr's celebrations ;)

soz.. delayed reply.. advantage with country side- is that yes, it is a lot more quieter, and yes, city is a lot more busier.. but the thing is, if u go to the city, u'll be learning correct jap.. like if u go too much into the country side, u'll come bac learning a diff dialect and diff forms...

those of u doing performance.... do u guys have to write program notes for ur pieces for trials?

u can also do multiple qn tests on BOS.. u may know about it..

well it depends on where abouts in jap u stay. like wherever u go, u'll find da ppl all very generous n all.. but there are some places in jap that give u the wrong image... im not really making much sense here.. well what im trying to say is.. like say u want to do an exchange in aus n ur...

i guess with section 1 - only way to prepare for it is to do some practice reading tasks.. and to revise techniques used in diff texts etc..

ah- alliance.. nous y allons chaque annee pour un test d'oral. c'est bien.. quand on vas a alliance, ca sens un peu comme on est en france - parce que tout le monde parle en francais tout le temps.. donc on peut pratiquer le francais.. avec les Francais! lol

yeh..that's what im looking for as well! There are a couple in the resources section.. if u haven't looked there yet - i think it's the '02 and '03 ' (cssa) ones u can find there.
