  • You're able to isolate yourself from pop music...? o_O I didn't think that was possible, but well done. So I'm assuming since you do 2u music, you play an instrument, or better yet, sing..? =D =D

OMG, I want to pick up chemistry next year so perhaps you could be of help if I decide to pick it up. =P Haha yeah, I think the school I'm thinking of is Sydney Grammar...guys like us should go to an all-boys school, it'd be like putting a fox in the hen's nest as my friend once said hahaha..
I'm actually not to surprised you don't know the name One Republic...however, I would be shocked if you don't know their song 'Apologize'...they're one of those bands where some people know the songs but not the name of the band.....Dying Fetus? Well, they sound interesting to say the least haha that is quite a name!

So how is it like in IGS? I tend to confuse that with another Grammar school with a green uniform...but yeah, if I'm thinking about the right Grammar school I know one of them is like all-boys and is VERY exclusive...like you have to be super intelligent to get in, which is not me..lol my science and math is quite weak, which is sad for me atm because I want to do something animals and most high-paying jobs requiring chemistry and math...math i can maybe get, but i've never attempted chemistry and from what i hear...shit man. lol and my spatial reasoning is apparently below average. haha I'm good at history though. =P What subjects you doing?
Progressive Tech-Death grindcore-influenced cyber-scream!?!?! Bahahaha, my goodness I've heard of stuff like glam-metal or what is it..neuro-metal?? Didn't realize it was that extreme...to me for the most part, you have your music I like and music I don't..like, as long as I like the song that is all that matters..sometimes you'll find songs out of your usual genre that you love. For example, I'm usually not a huge hip-hop/rap fan but I like Lauryn Hill, it connects with me.

However, based on artists of songs I LOVE..ie: Lifehouse, One Republic, Cyndi Lauper, Skye Sweetnam, Avril Lavigne, Katy Perry, Edwin Mccain (I'm obsessing over his song 'Farewell to Tinkerbell' right now, it makes me cry), Jewel, Butch Walker Jasmine Star, RPM, Nelly Furtado, Greenday just to name a few...I like my pop-rock very much and also sad, emotional, 'pretty' songs like All the Same by Sick Puppies or Again by Lenny Kravitz....so yeah..have any favourite artists to name?
I use the term rock very carefully, because most people are like "thats not rock" or "thats not punk"...some people get pissed when you call Greenday or Good Charlotte Punk...not as angry as when you call Avril Lavigne punk (which is fair enough) but you know, still....
Fair enough....we all love what we love, there isn't anything wrong with that.

To be fair, I do like some genres/aspects of metal...not the screaming which I believe (correct me if I'm wrong) death metal has a lot of, but I do enjoy like some of the guitars and such, the solos and I don't know what you call them...riffs, etc are awesome but I like to hear singing as opposed to screaming....the only metal I really listen to honestly though are pop songs being made into rock/metal songs....if you look up bliix on youtube, he does a lot awesome metal remixes of pop songs although you may find them a bit prissy compared to real metal songs.....whilst I appreciate blues and especially jazz as I am aware it has influenced all genres of music I'm at a certain stage where pop songs do something for me as well as some songs with a tinge of rock.
LMFAO!!!!! Nice, very nice man. =P

Ahhh death metal...whenever I hear it, I feel like they're making fun of themselves, lol the constipated screaming they do is hysterical.
