    UAC Main Offers on 17/1 at 9pm (Sydney time) (Post offers in thread above ^^)

    correct me if im wrong someone. but if u accept an offer other than ur 1st offer, ur higher offers are still active for consideration in the later rounds. if you do happen to get accepted to one of ur higher ranked preferences in a later round, u can then reject the offer that u have already...

    2007 UAI Cut-offs

    they are not known until the university offers are made in january 17th, this is the 'main round' of offers, and the UAI cutoffs for this main round are released to the public on the same day (jan 17th). The final cutoff can vary slightly from this, from late round and final round offers though...

    hehe.. thanks for the bumped thread. I want to study economics/law next year, at UNSW, i got a UAI of 99.2 ... which is right on last years cutoff... with a bit of luck it wont go up (but maybe with new building + new ranking 1st from federal government for law it might go up .. then i will...

    University for finance, commerce and law?

    usyd or unsw :D u cant go wrong with either of them, great unis. Like someone above said, law is often considered slightly better at usyd, whereas commerce/finance is often considered slightly better at unsw, but opinions vary.

    'Error' in premium notes?

    mm i agree. off pat statements like "the rich are getting richer and the poor keep getting poorer" really annoy me. They are pure fiction (the minimum wage has only ever gone up), and are just said without thinking by idiots who want to make a point - even though the very essence of the...

    Band cut off estimates

    here are some past years marks... this test seems similar difficulty to previous so i dont expect it to change too much: 2004: 101/120 ==> 93/100 2003: 73/120 ==> 82/100 2003: 66/120 ==> 79/120 2001: 96/120 ==> 90/100

    What HSC MARK?

    considering u do general maths; i find i highly unlikely u got anywhere near 97-99 raw. 97-99 raw would be first in state, and would give a mark of 98+ (it would give 100 UAI contribution towards ur aggreagte which is out of 500)
