How does the grading system work here in Newcastle? For each subject, do you receive a mark of fail, pass, credit, distinction, high distinction? or do you only receive your WAM for all your subjects and don't get each individual subject's grades? Do they tell you what your GPA is every...

to be honest every night going out into town/pubs etc has been shit... packed/20 guys to 1 girl ratio etc, ive just stayed home those nights and just chilled and played some pool or something with the evatt boys who stay back too

Haha i dont vomit when I drink, I've done it once when i was like 15 and I still remember how bad the feeling was, so i've never ever gotten drunk to that extent again ;) And i got into Evatt House

So as far as I know... the uni takes up the entire suburb of Callaghan? So would it take about 10-15 minutes to walk the entire campus length from the west to the east?

How big the university? Like, how long does it take to walk from one side to the other? Because the physics building is on the very opposite side of the uni to the colleges gahhh Also, what's the Hunter/Shortland thing?

Why the multi accounts? Lol i already signed up for 2 subjects now, physics and the intro to health science profession thingy, as I'm quite sure i'l get credits for the other two.

So, what are the things we need to bring for college? Do we need to supply our own doonas/sheets etc? Also, what are some other things that would be important to bring? When is everyone moving in? My contract date starts on the 6th but I'm moving in on the 14th, is that fine?

Didn't get into college either... dam. Oh well, I'm yet to get accommodation because I'm still waiting for 2nd round offers if I might get into radiography closer to home. Was it hard securing your house? Are you just flatting with randoms or with people you already know?
