im not going to fight with you about it absolution. i dont know enough about kerouac or eliot to keep debating so i'm officially letting go.. next time i wont make assumptions because as the wise david brent once said "it makes an 'ass' out of you and me"

it may be idiotic, thats why i said it was non-related. i figured i'd mention it because i assumed that maybe ppl who enjoy kerouac would enjoy eliot's work. obviously i was wrong.

Anna Karenina by Tolstoy is good... and my brother raves about anything by Alexandre Dumas: the man in the iron mask, the three musketeers and the count of monte christo..but you'd probably have to be braced for a fair bit of swashbuckling and revenge in those books There's this really good...

this is pretty non-related but what do you all think of T.S Eliot? i just started reading his poetry and it's not "streams-of-conciousness" like Kerouac but in a way it's a similar style (written before Kerouac though) and im really enjoying it..especially the "Love song of J. Alfred Prufrock"

i LOVE on the road..some of the descriptions of places, especially near the end of the book when they are in south america, just make me want to go there so badly!! most of the musicians/writers/poets i like were heavily influenced by Kerouac so thats got account for something too.. ah to...

yeah! that confused me even more! and i havent been able to find any official info on when selection takes place or anything i havent actually discussed it with my teacher yet so i'll bombard her with questions 2moro and let you know to make matters more complicated my actual art teacher is...

my teacher left me a message saying that my artwork has been selected for exhibition at Hazelhurst regional gallery..she said its part of Art Express but im confused because i got the impression from this site that the BOW's hadnt been marked yet!! as a school in the same area as the gallery...

has anyone seen this doco on bob dylan by scorsese yet? (josiekiller im looking to you) i saw snippets and it looks fantastic!!
