Strength of Gravity approaching centre of Earth

I had the same question in my exam (and it was also the 2nd MC question). Answer is definitely decreases to 0 as you approach centre.

    Biology!

Key concepts involved: polypeptides are made as instructed by the DNA base sequence, and a mutation is a permanent change in the sequence of nucleotides on DNA. A simple flowchart can answer your question, obviously coupled with some description which I have not included. DNA Sequence -->...

Preliminary Physics Tutoring -- Enrolling students for 2014

Re: Preliminary Physics Tutoring -- Starting 25th March (QUALIFIED TEACHER) Definitely the best tutor! Physics-God and such a great guy who genuinely cares about each one of his students! Goes out of his way to help his students on a regular basis. Also has such a great, systematic structure to...

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

Re: 2013 HSC physics marathon Yeah I wasn't sure whether to mention landing, based on the wording of the question. I also probably went too in depth in some areas and not enough in others. If the spacecraft re-enters at an angle too shallow (typically greater than 10degrees), the spacecraft...

    HSC Physics Marathon 2013-2015 Archive

Re: 2013 HSC physics marathon Issue: There is an optimum angle for safe re-entry for a manned spacecraft. Failure to meet such an angle can result in fatality and destruction. Other factors that need to be taken into consideration and appropriately treated in order for a safe re-entry are...
