    Hey :) I was just looking at your "About Me" and I saw "PPHS". Do you go to Picnic Point High? I could be wrong though because there are probably lots of schools in NSW whose acronym is PPHS :L

    nah, it's a different question since it doesn't involve midpoints or right angles and you only had to prove angle ACB = 2 x angle DCB (does that ring a bell)

    construct a right triangle ABC where AB is the hypotenuse
    let M be the midpoint of AB (so that AM=BM) and contruct MD parallel to CA and construct CM

    In triangle BDM and CDM
    BD=DC (converse of join of midpoints), DM is common and angle BDM = angle CDM = 90
    triangle BDM is congruent to triangle CDM (SAS)

    therefore BM must equal to CM

    and so AM=BM=CM

    circle geo is taking the easy way out :p

    Yeah I thought of that before but I forgotten that any 3 points can form a unique circle.

    I found a better proof without involving circle geo anyway :p
