UWS has a 4 year teaching course. Comes out as a Masters degree too.
Yeah. I felt like I wanted to be a teacher from year 9-11. One of my teachers said it's a bit.. iffy and probably shouldn't get into it for my whole life, etc. I also became a little impartial to it. Still felt like I wanted to help people. I've also become quite interested in people and how they operate. Emotional health and what not. So I want to sort out people's issues because they might not understand it themselves.
The only shit part is that it takes me fuckin' 6 years of study including 4000 hours of unpaid practice hours and 2 ten thousand word theses. (If I do Honours)
Nah Usyd is really shit in the postgrad degree. They also force me to do a science faculty postgrad degree for 3 years when I can do the same degree in 2, with better topics, at UWS.
They also only have an arts or science undergrad degree of Psychology when UWS has a purely Psych. degree. I *might* transfer to UNSW at postgrad level. But I doubt it.

I only worry because I don't want to end up starting something that I wouldn't be able to finish. There's no point. Also with a six year degree, I really feel like I need to know what the hell I'm doing before I start. I don't want to spend any more time out of work than I need to.

Yeah, my day wasn't too bad. Realised early this morning (3am~) that I need to maintain a 5.5 GPA average during the undergrad uni course core topics to get into the Postgrad degree. I'm gonna friggin neck myself. Other than that, I had a pretty good day with my mate who's out of school now.
