    The Umat Results 2012.

Haha it's okay. The course is good, but it gets tedious/boring after awhile. I was at uni about 24-25 hours a week in first year, way more than any of my friends who weren't doing science, but you have less hours in 2nd and 3rd year. I found that last semester (1st semester of 3rd year) was the...

    The Umat Results 2012.

I didn't sit it this year, because I was overseas for most of my 3 month break at the end of the year and didn't get to study for it. But I definitely will be sitting it next year.

    The Umat Results 2012.

You shouldn't be so panicked, there are other ways to get into medicine as well as other things to do instead of medicine. I was like you in year 12, I wanted to be a doctor since forever and was full set on doing medicine straight after high school but I didn't get a high enough ATAR or UMAT...

    UTS Bridging Courses

I didn't do the maths one, but I did do the chemistry one. It was very helpful imo, gave me a little kick start when I had to do chemistry 1 when I started because I knew how to do like the first 3 or 4 weeks worth of lectures.

How old will you be when you graduate from uni?

It varies depending on what you want to specialise in, something like being a G.P is around 4 years I think, while something like Surgery is about 6 or 7 years. You need a B Medicine/B Surgery here in Australia to actually become a doctor, but also you have to go through training in a hospital...

How old will you be when you graduate from uni?

I'll be 20 - 3 year course :D but hopefully when I finish my first course, I'll be able to get into post-graduate medicine, which is about 4 years I think, so I'll be about 24-25 IF I get into medicine as well afterwards.
