nah i just started yr12 right now, i want to do actuarys at uni...also if you can get a decent tutor or even 3-4th yr math/actuarys student...my brother is in some math/science course so he tutors me :)

this may sound dumb, but when you do 4u maths, another way to get a better result is to do maths beyond the 4u course...if you are planning to do a maths related course at uni it will supplement that anyway ie actuarys..but it will also make 4u alot easier...i mean think of how much easier 3u...

i only have got 4u math / chem... chem i got 91% which is 3rd and maths i got 96% which was equal first

hmm ive done complex numbers and got all right so if anyone needs answers from arnold or the harder fitz ones on graph / complex ill send or soemthing...

if you are having trouble on these questions you can always do expand LHS, Expand RHS etc Ie LHS = = = = RHS = = = LHS = RHS .:. true for n = k + 1

err i just did my 1st assessment; (what a joke) I got 97%... dont think this is good or anything as it was like the standard of a general test ie sketch 1/(x3 + x2 - 6x) was the last qn ...well i suppose 4u inverse graphs help but still...it was worth 12/60 !!!

well so far i have cambridge/fitz and after doing graphs / complex, cambridge is alot better as the qns in fitzpatric are too basic

what sorts of questions do they ask when you have to do a 1hr titration prac? also if anyone has done one (mine is assessable) could you please scan it or something? or if someone knows where i could find one, it would be greatly appriciated :)

yeah i said something along the lines of spilling a few drops of water on the acid is highly exothermic (in the case of HCl anyway) and the water will boil rapidly and volitily spit etc, wear goggles

yeah thx what about like saftety considerations :confused: lol, i wish it was just all maths and calcuation problems etc, i hate this kind of theory :(
