If its gonna take you two semesters anyway, you might as well make it easier on yourself. 1-4 just piles the workload onto one semester and if you tank that semester it won't be good for your GPA. It's common sense, but you'd probably perform better with less on your plate.

Hmm, that infos interesting. I did well in ACST101, got a reasonably comfortable D so that should be fine, but i only just scraped by in STAT170. What would you say is necessary from stats that transfers into AFIN?
Here's where i know you're bullshitting. I've done pretty much all the required first year subjects under the Applied Finance degree and that isn't the case.
I've done ACST101, STAT170, ECON110, ECON 111 and ACCG106 and only one of them (STAT170) allowed cheat sheets in the final.
Now i don't do the subject and i'm not planning on switching considering i only have 1 HSC exam left in 2 days but my friend who keeps complaining about it keeps saying its essentially 4u maths.
I have a strong feeling he's either bullshitting or assuming that rearranging and applying...
