I put GST too but my teacher said the question asked for discretionary change that contributes to change in the budget. The budget comes form surplus to deficit but GST (which is the revenue for govt) increases from 43 to 45 so it's not correct :(

I said inflation leads to an increase in price of exports and domestic assets, therefore it causes demand for AUD in short term, leading to an appreciation in short term. This increases purchasing power of domestic consumers. Am i right?:confused:
