I've been running up walls and round and round in squares.... tests do this to me (3 hour maths one today)
I'm doing ok, bit stressed lol
How have you been? Hows school going? And have to magpies been behaving, or are we going to have to go on the offensive?

Wow, trials for trials... that must've sucked.
Hmmm i never really paid much attention in yr 10 history to be honest and i don't think i've ever learnt about the impacts of technology. However, if i had to answer that question i'd mention the oven, washing machine and gas cooktops etc etc and how they made life easier, raising standards of living. Vacuum cleaners would count as a housing appliances so you probably answered that question fine

Yeah, moles is a unit of measurement but an entire concept comes with it and a few formulas too
I believe most HSC students have sat their HSC trials already so there's room for year 10 kids to do theirs.

Not really a technique, but i guess i say the dates and an outline or name of the event everytime something remotely related to it comes up. For eg i always mention the arms race during the cold war to Chernobyl in physics
English and Science Trial School Certificate is OVER! Whew!
Science was easy, but I felt like I was going to gnaw my arm off in English.
Should revise on comprehension skills >.>

Chemistry is so worth it in year 12, it's a bit dry in year 11 but it's not that bad - just ace the moles concept because that's part of year 12
Yeah, lots of people think all teacher will spoon fed you. That's not always the case so you have to be willing to teach yourself. That goes for every subject btw XD

Comments = You'll be fine if you have a great teacher. If you have a shat teacher, be ready to make your own notes and teach yourself. But do not fear if it's the 2nd case; it's not that bad.
Maths content = minimal. As long as you can sub values in and rearrange equations, you'll be fine.
Level of difficulty = not that hard. It is reasonable for a HSC subject and the amount of content is roughly equivalent to other 2U subjects such as modern.

Ah i see, although i might be a bit biased XD
Although they're both sciences, they actually require slightly different skills. Chemistry is more about memorising a few equations and a few concepts. On the other hand, you don't remember any equations for physics (they give you a formula sheet with everything you need) and it's more about the concept. There's also a bit about the history of how they discovered things etc etc. So difficulty will depend on which one you're better with (concepts and history or equations and concepts). I personally find physics more interesting but my marks and ranks are pretty much the same for both subjects so i don't know which one is harder. Just go with which one you'd prefer

Both Chemistry and Physics are highly content based but with a good teacher you will have plenty of practical experience to understand the applications and purpose of learning the course - without learning why you are learning the crap in class... you'll just be a drone reciting information.
Well it's all subjective to what you might find easier to understand or apply. Personally I think Physics is more difficult to comprehend and use than Chemistry (but then again, I think I'm in the minority here because I prefer chemistry on numerous levels).
Neither really use much math anymore... just punching in little numbers and applying formulae. Physics is just shoving it all into a formula, where chemistry really requires a little manipulation and very practical situations which you will perform under lab conditions (where as Physics questions are quite hypothetical).
In short: Chemistry = more math. Physics = more revision. I love them both.
I've already done the Maths trials for Year 12. I have my Year 11 prelim exams coming soon (I am in year 11 clearly).
I think you'll just have to miss out for that one
