    Definitely this: "It would be interesting to see why people act the way they do, and how the mind works." I just read what social psychology is and it seems interesting :)

    And I've only been to MQ once and yes it definitely is quiet :) I might actually consider going there now. I'll also consider going to the open day this year :)

    Nah the only thing that is seen to be annoying/boring in the course is statistics, but that's realistically the only maths that it involves.
    After going to Maq open day:

    1. Their library (I need not say more when you are actually in there)
    2. The grounds
    3. The facilities
    4. Better Psych rep
    5. The place is quiet unlike the city.
    6. It still has easy access to the city + is next to Maq shops

    You'll see for yourself eventually Ealsy :p

    Ealdoon, I find psych interesting for many reasons.. I would be interesting to see why
    people act the way they do, and how the mind works, also theres advertisement,
    education, sport, political.. theres many options!
    I an not certain to which one though!

    Yeah, since it's in non-school, the posts cannot be about school otherwise the thread gets locked haha. That's what happened to "The Nonsense Thread" :p And for me, BoS and p00n is addictive XD So what is it that you like about psychology? I'm curious because it might help me make up my mind :)

    I don't even know what I'm doing on Australia Day haha. It'll probably be a normal day for me XD And don't do work on your birthday, just relax for a day! :) And I'm not sure about the Vegemite gelato, I hear about it on the news every year :)

    Okay, I'm starting to get a bit dizzy now so I think it's a sign that I should go to bed haha. Good night :)

    It's a random thread, someone talks about something (cannot be about school) and we just talk about it :p It's very addictive though so I suggest staying away from it (like Caffeine) haha. And I'm still trying to work out if I should do Psychology at university. Not that it matters though, university is so far away haha

    Hope you have a good birthday! :) Why don't you try some Vegemite gelato? XD Well, it is Australia Day on your birthday and they usually sell it on that day :p

    Yeah I just read about that :) And I know haha, she told me :p I was thinking about doing psychology because it does seem interesting. I heard that there are some really boring parts though. Hopefully by the end of this year, I'll know what I want to do :)

    Well put simply both Syd and MQ will be on my preferences but after going to the MQ open day I liked it there much much better than Sydney. Also they are reputed to have a better Psych department there. Yeah Mary and I know each other because of that :p I'm the one teaching her Psych though :p

    Haha that's weird :p And yeah, I just saw your post saying that you wanted to do Psychology at MQ. Why don't you want to go to USYD anymore? Is MQ closer to home or something? :) From memory, Maryanayeah wants do to Psychology at MQ as well :)

    The whole house was closed up but it did not stop the heat at all :S

    Well not really, anyone can fall into it lol, but screw it I want to ace this year. We rarely get homework so yes that would be 3hrs minimum studying :p A girl I knew did 6hours a day last year and lasted the whole year. She got a good ATAR as well. If I could manage that much work I'd be so happy. Thanks mate! potentially looked at UMAQ for Psychology now which is 94.05 ATAR but my goal is still to get 97. Always aim higher.

    The aircon was on all day yesterday for me haha. It got too cold sometimes though so I just walked out of my room every now and then. Not too sure why it got so hot at your place though, did you have the windows open or something? :p Anyway, the weather is great today! :)

    Haha yeah, apparently burning out is a myth. You have extra-curricular activities though so you don't have to worry about not having a balance :) And during the year, I assume that the 3 hours includes homework, assessments and study? If it's 3 hours of just studying then wow :O Anyway, good luck this year Caffeine :) Hope you get into Psychology at USYD (The cutoff is still 97 ATAR) :)

    It hit 50 degrees at our house yesterday far out. No wonder the aircon was doing absolutely nothing to cool the place down.

    Aha not any more for me, I'm hitting the last bit of these holidays so hard at the moment with work. Plan to work extremely hard for the rest of the year (burning out is only a state of mind :p). Probs do a minimum of three hours a night when school starts back up again. Then a full day on Sunday.

    Ahahaha today has been a bit of a slow study day, made good progress on my English essay but still a lot of procrastination :p Happens whenever its a 40 degree day :S
