but I finally got around to finishing Sotsu and wow it was pretty good, but Gou was a lil better imo. anyways the thing I liked abt Sotsu is that Rika finally stands up for herself!! and knocks some sense into Satoko instead of always being tossed around by her

I'm glad I got to see more of Rika's inner strength and true self (the badass side, not the cutesy and fake one lol), in many moments she had Satoko in a mental chokehold which was so great, in my head I was like YAS rika you go girl

I also like that we get to see more of Hanyuu's story, it esp gave me some closure knowing that it was Hanyuu who got Rika into a loop in the first place, and her reasons for it

Yes! I really liked it as well it was really interesting, and the montage of Satoko attacking Rika was shocking. The ending is bittersweet, and they learn to finally move on. And yeah, gou is wayyyy better than sotsu imo. I kinda wanted to see more eua/hanyuu fight scene plus eua's origins are unknown, so I sorta hoped to know how she entered their world to begin with.

Trust me I have no one to share this with either XD. No one I know watches it

the ending rlly is bittersweet it left me feeling empty inside, but yeah at least they learned to move on and Rika was able to move away for school. her friendship w Satoko is one of the craziest, built on the purest mutual love but also on centuries of trauma, it's so unhealthy yikes but it made the show amazing

I literally have no remorse or sympathy for Satoko she's so evil, there's no way you can claim to love someone and kill them so brutally over and over again, and YES true I wish we got more info about Eua her story is still really mysterious, but at least we got some closure on Hanyuu, perhaps in a future season we'll get to learn more abt Eua. oh welllll.

Here's hoping for a future season. Same here, I don't like Satoko whatsoever, she's nasty and messed up. Idk how Rika even forgave her like??

fr Rika she's beyond sweet. tbh I feel like neither really forgave each other, they simply accepted the new rules of their friendship which is to give each other space, after all they're the only 2 ppl in the universe who are living in loops, they're gonna be dealing with each other for eternity

I personally think Satoko is no longer a looper, because in the last episode she says something about releasing herself and then her red eyes go away. So maybe she's lost that ability? I also reckon it's sad how their friendship became so broken, it was so sweet before and now it's destroyed

I was thinking abt this convo afterwards and I was like wait omg at the very very end, looper Satoko gives up and lets Satoko go back to normal so you're right abt the red eyes disappearing, I rmb now. yeah their friendship is damaged beyond repair it's quite sad, I just hope Satoko's love for Rika becomes less toxic over time, it was ruining her own life plus Rika's

Yeah . I wonder what happened to "witch Satoko", and why Rika didn't leave like Satoko.

@totally_screwed just remembered, Rika did tell satoko that she didn't need to study with her, so I wonder why she went on ahead and pressured herself so much? Pretty weird, she wasn't forced into it at all. Hmm...

I'm still not up to Shippuden, so I don't know who Rika is yet other than from this profile picture I assume.
