Annyone off to Bond in 2013?

No....my degree is 92'000 and accommodation is 30'000 (including food) which equates to 122000. Assuming you make 50'000 after graduating, that brings the price down to 72'000. To do a three year bachelor of commerce at UQ would cost $24'270 (course fees). Accommodation would be $40'000 not...

Annyone off to Bond in 2013?

Accommodation is cheaper and since you get out a year early you earn money sooner....over the years it works out to be a better investment than a cheap uni....people look at the price of bond and instantly reject it rather than actually doing some research

Annyone off to Bond in 2013?

Yeah I also applied for UAC and QTAC so I will get offers from other unis, but I like Bond better than any other uni. Also, the course is just two years rather than three for commerce :)

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

Yeah and guess what, I'm not going to waste my time talking to them. Im standing by my belief that the US should make guns illegal like Australia or Japan but unfortunately I doubt that will ever happen.

Im sorry, but I dont argue with rude, insulting and arrogant people. Calling people 'fucking retarded' will get you nowhere in life. Learn some manners and then we can have a proper discussion and I might take you seriously.

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

Well, luckily the graph that shows whether the weapons were illegally or legally obtained did not come from the author of that article (if what the comment says is true). http://www.motherjones.com/politics/2012/07/mass-shootings-map

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

Don't see how this is funny? 20 primary school kids and 6 teachers have just been shot dead before Christmas and you're trying to tell me everyone should be allowed to have guns....Have some respect please.

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

Also, for the people saying that most of these murders are committed with illegal weapons, that's incorrect. http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/wonkblog/wp/2012/12/14/nine-facts-about-guns-and-mass-shootings-in-the-united-states/

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

I don't think so. Someone could just take up a hidden position with a sniper rifle and shoot people down. I don't think it would be difficult to kill a lot of unsuspecting people even if they had guns. Also, children can't use guns so the maniacs will probably just target more schools and...

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

You shouldn't make random, vague claims like me being retarded or that I hate freedom, cause both of those are untrue. Sorry guys, but you can't argue with the facts. Basically, if you let the public have guns, there will be more shootings, massacres etc. If you take away those guns and make...

How strict? Probably not strict enough I'm guessing?

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

I never said in any of my posts that you can waltz down to a local shop to buy a gun nor do I think that. But I know for a fact that its far easier to buy guns in the US which is probably why 88% of people own one, the highest in the developed world. When I was over there, we went into a Wal...

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

Alexis, 12000 people in the US died in 2008 from gun related homicides. In Japan, 11 died. In the US, 88% of people own at least one firearm while Japan has the lowest firearm ownership in the developed world. Is that right there, not proof that banning guns will save more lives? I don't care if...

Nope and what do the Australian laws have to do what I just said?

    Elementary school shooting in Conneticut

The difference between the Chinese and US incident was that none of the 22 people slashed actually died. Of course people are going to find other methods to kill, but guns are the easiest way to kill a lot of people. Taking guns away will make it a lot harder for people to kill. I don't have a...
