i prefer excel.. less rambling on with massive paragraphs, or what seems like it in macquarie. I find excel has more tables, graphs and just overall easier to read/understand for my subjects (sciences). Its just a study guide in the end, its different from a text book. Excel is good summary...

i find notes summarise everything you've learnt well. text books ramble on about unimportant stuff sometimes. reading notes make things simpler and easier i guess. if you dont get something, you can write your own explanations in your notes.

just write notes that are brief but cover the main ideas. as long as you understand it, you can probably just write out random stuff and still get marks. be more organised next time? oh, since you're doing religion, most of the stuff in it are irrelevant to what you actually need to know for an...

haha im doing 13 units next year as well, but i'll drop something somewhere there in the first 2 terms to 11 units, altough its quite clear that im going to drop bio anyways. but if i cope well then ill just keep 13 units all the way through.
