Wow thanks so much strawberrye ! I couldn't find any information on Mod B Speeches anywhere else :D

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive Could anyone skim over my answer to those 2 questions on the last page and just see if I would get full marks for that? Thanks!

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive Assess the potential of cellulose in being used as a raw material for the production of petrochemicals. (5 marks) Petrochemicals are currently mainly being produced from non-renewable resources / crude oil, which is estimated to run out within the next...

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive Thanks for clearing that up zhertec. As said before haven't really completely covered everything in the acidic course although I value these questions as I'm still learning a lot of things from the new acidic topic anyway :) So the hydronium ion essentially...

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive I'm not sure If I've learnt that yet. Would that be when there is a weak acid - hence it couldn't fully ionise?

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive Hydronium Ions, H30+, are positively charged ions that results from the presence of an acid in water, where a hydrogen ion reacts with the water molecule to form Hydronium ions. Due to their charge they increase the acidity of a substance by a lot as they are...

    HSC 2012-2015 Chemistry Marathon (archive)

re: HSC Chemistry Marathon Archive The cell would no longer be neutralised and the cell would become incomplete as the salt bridge reacted. This would stop the ions from each cell from moving to the other cell and hence the cell would no longer give a voltage.

    pH Calculation Question [HELP!]

So essentially H2SO4 fully ionises because it is a strong acid and the reason it ionises into 2H+ instead of one is because it is H2SO4?

    pH Calculation Question [HELP!]

This is the bit I'm still a bit unsure about. I can easily find the moles of H2SO4 or NaOH and can make the equation but I don't entirely understand your working to find the number of moles of H+ and OH-. And then I don't really understand why / what's going on when we are finding the remaining...

    EAS Rorting Has To Stop

Also not all 70k people go to university. Probably most of the 20k which rort the system or whatever do end up going to uni. I dunno, I guess the math kind of works then.

Help with Inverse Trig Differentiation Question

Find, in the form y = mx + b, the equation of the tangent and the normal to the curve at the point indicated: y = inverse sin(x/2), at x = sqroot(2) I found the tangent to be y = x/root(2) - 1 but the answer has the same but with + pi/4. I have no idea where pi came from essentially...

question regarding aligning and scaling etc

They calculate the internal just the same as always. If you're marked worse you'll get a worse rank

The real reason why you weren't homeschooled, your parents don't love you enough...

Re: The real reason why you weren't homeschooled, your parents don't love you enough. True but lots of housewives are married to rich husbands and hence send their children to expensive schools which have arguably non-crappy education. But I do agree home-schooling is probably more effective...

Re: The real reason why you weren't homeschooled, your parents don't love you enough. Imagine how crap the economy would become if everyone dropped work to homeschool haha

    Building new PC

I would personally consider downgrading the CPU in the interest of money. Trust me an i5 will do all that you have said and save you a lot of money. Rest of the build is pretty good, maybe add a hard drive in case SSD fills up, your choice. I wouldn't bother with liquid cooling, such a hassle...

    standard English

Well you're last, I dunno you really have to improve. Also 3 more marks if 50% of your current mark, and is quite a difference in english If you can avoid dropping then don't though :)

    Life

I don't entirely understand what you're saying here, why should a disbelief in God result in not being able to express your moral concerns? Your meaning of life to me seems somewhat strange as I imagine you spend much of your time doing things which don't fulfill that goal of serving your...
