I do prefer studying in the library, you can concentrate a hell lot better. I find I am always procrastinating if I study at home.

37 hours is an awful lot, especially with the several activities you mentioned. You definitely need to cut down those hours, or as slyhunter said, leave altogether.

Honestly, no. I am nailing English right now, so there is no reason not to like it. I am sure my favourite subject will change after this Term, because the module we're doing this term looks shit.

In my opinion, if you're already doing Ext. 1, there is no harm in going on to do Ext. 2.

Remember, only 10 units count towards an ATAR. If you're failing Modern (or in your case, just not doing as well in it) and can't see it going towards your ATAR, why bother with it, especially if you're nailing your other subjects. Instead of wasting your time teaching yourself about Modern...

If you're going to beg, start begging now and not at the start of Year 12.

Me too :) I kind of wish I did 2 weeks of work experience, and not one. I would have also liked to do it at a Dental or Physiotherapy practice.

In Advanced, I find you're just working at a faster pace. That is due to having a class full of people that want to be there. The texts you analyse may be a tad more difficult, but honestly, nothing to be worried about.

I can't study without music, which is probably quite bad. It has to be calm, relaxing music though (eg - Rob Thomas, John Mayer, Jack Johnson etc).

Unlucky. Someone enjoying studying? Well I heard it here first.
