nah, it wasn't ONE past paper, they had cut and paste questions from different past papers. Sneaky, sneaky teachers. I got 18/20. Not too bad.

Yea, it is. I was really pissed off when I found out. Lazy teachers, couldn't be bothered setting us a proper exam paper :mad1: . Our whole exam was taken from BoS. The multiple choice, short answer and extended response. meh. I got over it.

Thats what our history teachers did too. Some students had done the past multiple choice questions as part as their study and then turns out the exact same questions were in the exam. Needless to say they got 20/20 for the multiple choice section.

I think you're forgetting that your school's rank isn't everything. If you're school ranked first, and you did bad, then you would still get a low UAI. It depends on you and how you perform. :/

why so pessimistic? TRY look on the bright side, if you work hard, then you may achieve a high UAI. Unlike some former students at your school....:/

hmmm. well when you get back to school why don't you ask your english teacher for a booklet or w/e on how to structure certain text types. imo the internet isn't a very good source of information. Anyway this site has some info on how to structure an essay...

We did the exact same amount. In yr 9 we did history during semester 1 and geography in semester 2 In yr 10 we did history term 1 - the middle of term 2 and geography the middle of term 2 - term 3 then we go back to history three weeks before SC to do some revision.
