English text types - need help (1 Viewer)

Does anyone know of a website or thread that gives detailed information on how to write and structure the main text types such as essays, short stories, newspaper articles, editorials etc ?

Any help at all would be appreciated, thanks

hmmm.
well when you get back to school why don't you ask your english teacher for a booklet or w/e on how to structure certain text types. imo the internet isn't a very good source of information.

Anyway this site has some info on how to structure an essay.

Thanks, but I'm not worried about essays. It's newspaper articles, editorials, diary entries and speeches that I'm more worried about. As for asking my teacher: our yearly exams start the first day we come back to school and our first exam is English

So it seems internet is your only choice. Search it on google.

Yes, I did include the word essays in my first post, but I'd rather not focus on just one text type.
