If your work is with a CA accredited firm and your work experience is mentored by someone who has their CA, then it should count towards your experience.

Re: Laptops If you just hibernate your laptop before your lecture (which most laptop users do) then I suppose it should only take you about 30 seconds to get ready. I'm a pretty tech savvy person but I still wrote most of my notes on paper rather than on my laptop. I guess it depends how you are.

Re: Laptops I mainly used my laptop in lectures to surf the net rather than take notes. I used the printed lecture slides to take notes. I really took my laptop to uni to use outside of class, to work on assignments and stuff, and to use when I was tutoring. So yeh, it's really up to you :p
