Books You Own But Have Not Read

I can't seem to find the time to read or finish reading books. I tend to read half-way, stop, and then read another. These are the books that I've purchased and haven't read, or have read but haven't finished Little Women The Other Side of the Story Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell The Da...

    experience at a selective school

That's not true. I don't go to a selective school but I find myself discussing politics, current affairs and world issues with my friends and peers almost everyday. It's such a generalisation to say that non-selective kids all get drunk on the weekends, and then proudly discuss how smashed they...

    leading edge conference tue/wed

I went to the one at Paramatta Town Hall. It wasn't that great. The notes were good though - up to date statistics etc. But most of the things they said, I already knew, so I didn't really learn anything new or that 'little bit extra'. My class said the same thing. But the notes were good.

How wil '05-'06 Budget affect inflation?

But, Costello argues that the tax-cuts will not result in any inflationary pressure, or any inflation that will raise interest rates because of the $8.9 billion surplus, and because the tax-cuts are occuring in two stages. Costello also said that previous tax-cuts were actually saved by...

At the moment, I've done one all-nighter and it was til 7.30am the next morning. Coffee pulled me through. I drifted off for a bit though at about 7am, woke up, and started frantically looking for my pen, only to realise I was never holding one. Sigh. Has anyone noticed that you get really...

Text book this, Text book that, where do you get them?

You should be able to find all the textbooks you need at Dymocks in the city. The one on George Street near or in the Galeries Victoria. And usually if they don't have it, they'll order it for you. For Chemistry, I recommend you purchase Chemistry Contexts, and the Surfing Series. For Year 12...
