has anyone got an interview at wollongong uni for visual arts this friday? what sorta works are you all taking? i dunno wat to wear.... retro vs. controversial and out there vs. semi-conservative. i know at interviews for good jobs, cleavagey tops shouldnt be worn... it cant be the same...

i've got COFA after my show off visual communication and design preferences at UTS (i know i wont get in) and then SCA but im thinkin of switchin them around. and if all else fails.... i've got some credit points towards gettin into a NAS course

hmmm.... i decided in the end to use two artworks, two movements + two philosophies: rachel whiteread: "house" ron mueck: "pregnant woman" surrealism + freud's philosophies relational art + marx' philosophy and i did Q5.

if they based it on whether it will practically fit and whatever... i dont think mine would've been preselected, cos its almost an installation... hard to set up... so i think its based on the mark for preselections

well, most of you know i spent a CRAZY $700 - $900 in my defence, it was photography, mounted and all :P

art is FAR from being about the money.... photographers and those doin digital jus have it tougher in terms of expenses

and i so agree with you about last yrs display being stupid, boring and insipid.... some of the digital works i saw.... ICK!
