    UNSW Median ATAR and UMAT

Hmm, I think they've still got a fairly alright chance of getting in. Or maybe bonded? Its kinda hard to say, maybe they'll get second round or JUST make the first round I think.

    Med Entry Practice Exam Percentiles

Not that I've done it personally in the past two years but from what I see on my students' accounts, MedEntry recycles at least 80% of their past questions so no, I dont think its much harder. Although note you've now got more questions in sections 2 and 3.

    med schools in aus/nz

Hey Callum, how are you going? =) I believe that James Cook university does not require UMAT, Bond Uni has low UMAT requirement but it is full fee, and Adelaide University has a relatively lower requirement compared to other uni's such as UNSW, Monash, Newcastle.

    Med Entry Practice Exam Percentiles

 Thank you Chloe, for your too generous compliments! It was a great pleasure teaching you because your improvements really made me feel successful! Hahaha. And also I saw your latest percentiles - absolutely amazing! And note because you've been comparing your percentiles, your improvement...

    UNSW Median ATAR and UMAT

Im not too sure about bonded, but it seems to me that the majority of my friends (unbonded) from UNSW med have an ATAR of 99.5 - 99.9 and a UMAT raw score of roughly 180 - 185. Hope that sort of answered your question.

    Medentry vs F2F section 3

The actual UMAT does have ALOT of pick the middle ones (at least in the year I sat it - 2008). The patterns are alot more consistent and non-dodgy. There were no "this to that" type of questions you sometimes see in Face2Face and MedEntry and very little number ones.

Are you a Sydney UMATer? Could do with some tutoring!

Those were not percentiles, they were actual marks. In terms of percentiles I think I got around (not exact cos they only gave you a graph to compare), 93, 71, 100. Thanks for the "free bump" though, I really appreciate it.

    Umat-Section 3 help

I can tutor you if you live in Sydney. Especially if your weakness is section 3, because thats is probably my favourite section.

Medentry eureka drills easier than exams

Definitely ALOT easier. And the wrong types of questions too. Lots of them are belong to you types you will never see in UMAT.

    F2F exams vs real UMAT

Hmmm not sure I'd agree that one's overall percentile in the UMAT is the average of the three sections. One of my friend's got an AVERAGE percentile of 79 but her OVERALL percentile is 87. But then she sat the UMAT in 2007 so they might have changed it since then. My understanding was that...

    F2F exams vs real UMAT

Well a raw score of 180 is roughly 92 - 94 percentile in the actual UMAT I think. But the thing is, you've got take into consideration that they've increased the number of questions in sections 2 and 3 so these numbers may change this year.

    F2F exams vs real UMAT

Its okay. You'd probably be looking at around 180 raw score I think.

    UMAT question

Im offering tutoring, btw, in case anyone wants some real help. =)

    UMAT question

yeah, it does seem a little overwhelming at first, especially the variety of the questions and everything takes so long. I was a little like that too, and I daresay alot of people were discouraged by some of the online resources by some preparation companies. The idea is to get through one...

Are you a Sydney UMATer? Could do with some tutoring!

It might seem so until you get tutored. Or it might seem so for some people. Or it might seem so if you were unfortunate enough to have come across a bad tutor. So let us all continue to believe what we believe, and in peace.
