    Shipwrecks

I finished the first page on Industrial Chemistry before I realised it was industrial chemistry. Realised something was wrong when they asked to describe how sulfuric acid was transported, naming safety measures xD I had enough time to finish everything though, so its okay :)

    Romanticism, people!

Everyone comes to life as zombies for a while too. Even after reading the whole thing though, worst thing is that skinny hand of the mariner. Oh how I fear it. That wedding guest sure was onto something!

Your Picks for MH questions for 09 paper

Dunno :( Our teacher post-WWI did a table for us outlining questions in the HSC/spec papers from 2004 onwards. They have never done same dot points in the years after. My predictions are: WWI - Women/propaganda & conscription (never been done) America - The GD/New Deal/Foreign Policy Cold War...

    Romanticism, people!

Their punishment was a flock of ravens pecking at them. I am so macabre.

Your Picks for MH questions for 09 paper

My teacher wrote the exam for Cold War and Soviet Union (which is why she stopped teaching us after we did WWI) and before my Chem exam she said "Good luck for tomorrow - its going to be hard." It was most probably a mind screw, but screwed with my mind it has.

    Beginning of FDR's Hundred Days :) 1941?

    Romanticism, people!

Looking back and getting over the 'fuck they didn't totally rape us!' hype, the exam paper was okay-good. I twisted the essay question, repeated my thesis over and over and over, relating it back at the end of every paragraph just in case. My creative was about kids who broke the eggs of...

    General Thoughts: English Extension 1

Romanticism questions were very good :) Wish I had more time because I wanted to write so much more!

    How many pages

My friend did 10 booklets in total. For the trials (Module B) she did 11 pages of writing compared to my 3 and got 19 whereas I got 18/20. Some people need more words to explain, some people need less. Chillax and start fretting over the sciences/HSIEs. You'll never see the paper you wrote...

Anyone who did Julius Caesar..look please

well, yes, but you can only gain a diverse insight through a variety of perspectives, right? if not, fuck. i need to go kill extension.

Anyone who did Julius Caesar..look please

Hardest question out of BR and Speeches. Basically, I used the idea of 'diverse' as meaning a range of perspectives the composer layers to create several interpretations of a person and/or event - I did Funeral orations, views on Caesar as a leader, Cassius/Brutus andd put some overlapping...

Frankenstein and Blade Runner... Who's glad to see the end of it?

It was good in that it actually made you think, whereas a "The similarities represent common human values" question you just spewed - allowed individual, personal theses to be developed. I think the examiners will enjoy reading the responses because its not a 'vomit all you can' question. I...

    Section 3 - Extended Response

I interpreted it as my text presents this notion of belonging by not presenting it. My head in exams is not the most fun place to be.

    what speeches did you do

Keating and Deano. I had a blankout over Bandler and ended up not having enough time for a third anyway.

    How many pages

11, 5, 9. Yeah, speeches is my worst. But I answered it properly - in the trials I got 18/20 for a 3 page response ;D

    Section 3 - Extended Response

    I still half challenged it.

    workload of 3u english?

The workload isn't small, but yes, how well you do in it depends on how much you understand and how well you like it. I like extension better because it offers me more freedom, its by far more intellectually challenging than the AOS or modules and because it really did change the way I think...

So who didn't title their story

I named it the last line of my creative. 'No Brigands' It seemed cool at the time, but fuck, how much more generic and corny could I get?

Skrzynecki People! How many poems did you talk about and which ones??

I did St Pat's, Feliks and 10 Mary + 1 related and did 7 pages with relatively small handwriting. Completed it pretty comfortably, the question was nice to Skrzynecki peeps :)
