i think it's a good idea for you to have a good idea of what you wanna major in for the science degree, because you're only doing your major subjects- there are no core science subjects or flexible electives like there are with the commerce component. You can think of your commerce major later...

I absolutely sucked at english, and I managed an 86 in Advanced English with very little effort. I think pulling high marks in standard is so much harder. If I were you, i'd stick to advanced.

Accounting, Psychology and a minor in Asian Studies (if i'm allowed) btw has any information been given out about this extreme thing? nothing is in my email :(

But if a first year applies for a cadetship, wouldn't it commence in second year anyway? Or would the first year apply for the vac work which then commences when they're in second year? /confused
