Well done on your marks. How did you find remedies? I'm thinking of doing it (mostly because I can fit it into my timetable). And what was health law like?

    My laptop deal

I get what you mean, but I don't have a desktop at all, so I need my laptop to have goood specs. I haven't decided whether I'm going to take it out of the house with me yet. It would be somewhat useful, but I don't want to carry it and I don't want to scratch/ruin/lose it.

    My laptop deal

Sorry can you rephrase that, maybe with punctuation. I've read it three times and I'm not sure what you'er trying to say.

    My laptop deal

Don't know. All I know is that LED uses less power than regular screens.

You can get honours at USyd with credits and passes?

    My laptop deal

They've been fine so far, and why would I need to contact them anyway? Why would you even say this? It's not helpful, just negative.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

I mostly agree with this. At the very least, vegetarianism is not less healthy than meat-eating, and meat-eating is not essential for good health. I don't know how much of the meat people actually consume is lean though. The end.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

Like I said, if there are differences I'm sure that the large number of people who have studied this and come up with similar results have taken all the differences into account. But it is still undisputed that eating a lot of meat (particularly poor quality meat) is not healthy, and all I have...

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

I would have thought that the people conducting these studies have taken this into account when coming to their conclusions. And what is your reason for believing that "many" of the studies are done in the US or that meat quality is better in Australia?

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

I thought it was pretty obvious, but that was an example of how it doesn't defeat an argument to claim that you know a person whose experience goes against that argument (even if that person does actually exist). I don't have an uncle.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

Laika, do you not understand the difference between veganism and vegetarianism? And why are you willing to accept the part from my link that you mistakenly believe supports your argument and ask for sources on the part that doesn't?

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

I provided you with a link that states this. Try reading it, mate.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

I would have thought that the countless vegetarians who are as healthy as meat-eaters would be enough. Vegetarian eating - Better Health Channel. Lower rates of disease in vegetarians sounds like an indication of good health

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

No I'm not always right, but this time I am. I've never said that eating meat is bad (though there are well-known risks in doing so, as with anything), but I'm sick of people claiming that meat is necessary for good health.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

ffs, it is common knowledge that a healthy diet does not have to include meat.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

Oh, so he wasn't a normal person. And he needed to eat better because of that, not necessarily meat. I also have an uncle who has smoked 2 packs a day since he was 14, and he's 80 today and totally healthy. So smoking isn't bad, don't worry about it kids. One unusual person doesn't change...

bullshit. unless your "friend" replaced meat with potato chips.

Animal cruelty is the same as racism.

Does anyone disagree with this statement: eating meat is okay, but we need to minimise suffering to the animals and give them a decent life. lol, in the same paragraph you request a source for a claim and then go on to say that there is plenty of evidence for other shit you're claiming...

    Personhood starts at conception

To say that human beings have an innate desire to protect their own species doesn't justify giving every member of our species the right to life (nor does it justify valuing human life over non-human life). Especially when the member of our species hasn't been born, and doesn't have any...

Yeah you're right that you can't be sure about some free range eggs, but the RSPCA has approved some brands and you can choose those and know that they are really free range.
