Things to reduce g force effects on astronaut

the angle at which the spacecraft enters the atmosphere during re-entry is also important: if the angle is too steep the acceleration will increase, hence increasing g forces

    Duke of Edinburgh's Award

it depends, if you already do a physical rec and a skill or service, it doesnt really take up much extra time at all. on the other hand, if you dont do any of them it's obviously gonna take up more extra time coz you have to start doing them. it's really worth the time though. i signed up...

    polynomial question

I have this question which I really can't work out. Can someone please help? If P(x)=x^3 -3x^2 -9x +c has a double zero, find c and factorise P(x) over the real numbers. Thanks

    Rockets

Do you have the answer for the question? I think I have worked it out. We were using the mass of the satellite when we should have using the mass of the Earth.

    Rockets

yeah but im not really sure if it answers the question

During re-entry the spacecraft must reduce its speed by about 90% to find height use: v^2= Gm/r (v=velocity, G= 6.67 x10^-11, m=mass, r=radius) oh and you probably have to subtract the earth's radius potential energy= -G m1m2/r on Earth potential energy is zero

    current topic

yeah we only just started talking about the section on special relativity before the hols
