    Forum Maintenance vII

Can someone delete all the members who signed up like a year ago and have never posted once? I know it doesn't interfere with the forum in any way...I'm just sick of seeing so many people on 0 posts in the members list!

    The Shittest Movie Ever.

I've never even heard of Gigli, but all this talk of how crap it is just makes me want to watch it more. ;)

    Tell me about Uni!

Also, most lecturers use powerpoint or put up slides with notes on it to copy out, so you just listen to them speak as you're writing. So it you just tape recorded the lecturer, you still wouldn't have all the notes. Also you'd miss any visual cues (eg-"see this thing I'm pointing at...") Though...

    hottest male celebrity

Hey does anyone else find that guys from the UK always seem more attractive when you know they're from the UK? For example-Chris Martin from Coldplay...some sickly pale little thing, but when you know he's from the UK, suddenly he doesn't seem so bad. Hmmm...random ramblings.

    lyrics

I have a lot of "special" songs (for want of a better phrase that doesn't sound so damn dramatic...), but this is probably the most recent of the lot. My new mantra is "just start running". :) Something For Kate-Light At the End Of The Tunnel Feels like you're coming apart And you've...

    anyone goin to Manson 19/9/03

I'd love to go, I think it'd be a very entertaining and interesting performance. But money doesn't grow on trees. :( (and yes...triple posting is evil.)

Wat if u dont get into any course?

no, no sarcasm intended. UNI is hard, boring and bloody expensive. Year 12 was a stroll in the park compared to this year.

    stayin away....

I thought the maximum amount of days you could have off was 40. (which is a damn lot of days, if you ask me! But my friend in year 10 had more than that amount off...). But I dunno, maybe it is different in year 11 and 12 than was is in year 10. But I'd say the school would have already been on...

    who liked Punk'd?

I only watched a bit...Ashton Kutcher was pissing me off. *ultra serious look*-"You're gonna get punk'd in a big way buddy".

Wat if u dont get into any course?

I would love love LOVE to go back and repeat year 12 again, instead of slogging through UNI. Booo! :(

    superjesus = free gig

    Yeah...all 3 of you. ;)

    Steve Urwin

I love Steve Irwin, but I hate that Americans assume we are all like him. First Crocodile Dundee, and now this! Can't stand his annoying wife though.

    Homebake 2003!

Yeah I went last year, I've been the last 4 years. It gets a little worse each year as it becomes more and more packed, with more and more 12 year old boys trying to be hardcore by moshing to Augie March.

Wat if u dont get into any course?

I'd be careful doing that-it isn't always that easy to transfer, especially if you've done some random course that doesn't have much to do with the one you want to transfer into. Also, it can be competitive to transfer and you may need a high average to do so, which may be easier said than done...

If you change your preferences over the internet, it is free.

    Merrick and Rosso-unplanned.

Did anyone here watch this last week? What do yu reckon? I know the point is that it is "unplanned"...but I think perhaps they took the concept a tad too far. Getting the audience to ask lame questions (whats your fave holiday destination? is just boring, although they did manage...

Wat if u dont get into any course?

You can change anything you want-you could completely scrap your first lot of preferences and start all over if you really wanted.

Wat if u dont get into any course?

Well if that is the case, then the answer is no-aside for changing preferences in beween rounds of offers. They only have a certain number of places in each course, and people couldn't just stick themselves into courses with lower UAIs that they didn't have as preferences-it wouldn't work out...

    Homebake 2003!

I don't think I'm going now. Uni textbooks are expensive. :(
