    Changing subjects - E request

Basically, they want you to do it yourself if possible. Even if you need approval, they won't enrol you into non-approved electives until you drop the subjects you don't want to do. So basically, drop the core subjects you don't want to do, try and enrol into the electives, if you can't then...

    business enrollment UTS

You'll get a study plan when you enrol into the course, which won't be until you go to enrolment.

    business enrollment UTS

For new students, the enrolment session usually consists of a talk and then enrolment session. They don't really arrange it for you, but they will help you with it. If you're enrolling into normal first year business, then there's not much to choose, but if you're not, then you will need to...

Post your exam thoughts and timetable here!

Oh the joys of ISP :p. Good luck with your mark. Hopefully you learnt some lessons from doing that subject though. Mainly, that most IS subjects are BS and for most IT subjects, you can very much get away without the textbook.

I've had 2 exams so far. ABC was alright. MDC was hard =\. 2 more to go!

Post your exam thoughts and timetable here!

ISP exam is more about taking what you learn and applying it to the questions. In my opinion, I don't find textbooks in subjects like that all too useful, but if you have the time, then read it. Well basically, if you can understand it from the lectures, then its fine, otherwise read the...

    2005 UTS INFO DAY - 27th August

Well, you need to start as a volunteer first before they will consider offering some sort of payment to you. As I said, best place to start is Peer Networking!

which uni's give exemptions with getting in Uni a with advanced diploma??

UTS will give exemptions for an advanced diploma from TAFE, provided they are relevant. Usually, its a maximum of 24cp though (half a year). As for allowing entry, well you're in the same boat as every other person applying to uni as a non-recent school leaver. They'll look at your marks as...

    2005 UTS INFO DAY - 27th August

The info day is not run by the UTS Union, rather, it's run by the marketing department of UTS. The UTS Union is, of course, the major sponsor for the day. It's hard to get in through the backdoor to help out, unless you know people on the inside. I'd start at the front door by becoming a Peer...

    parking at uts?

Depends how far you live and how many times a week you want to come to uni. For me, public transport works out a lot better and cheaper and I can sleep or study on the train too!

Does GPA start fresh in a new course?

As Ash was asking, the first year of her course is only graded as pass/fail while the rest is graded normally (I believe?). Do you have an older copy of the UTS Handbooks? If so, look up your course in there and it might tell you how your course is graded. If your course is only a pass course...

Is this true. eng at UWS --> UTS ??

Usually a credit average will let you transfer to UTS or any other uni. Obviously the higher your average, the better chance you have. A credit average in Engineering is not as easy as it sounds! I'll let some Engineering students post their experiences. You'll have to look at the course...
