A Beautiful Mind
Russell Crowe as John Forbes Nash Jr. gives a moving performance as a troubled genius. His acting in this film is great. A mathematical genius, he makes an astonishing discovery early on in his career and goes on a painful and harrowing journey of self-discovery, eventually...
This really should be in entertainment, but I'd go for Casey, mianly b/c she has a great voice for her age. Anothy's ok but he looks too up himself and too girlish wih a face like that (sorry to all those Anthony fans out there)
Our deputy won't let us do 3, it's too much, so if I had kept SDD I would have 3 MW to do (SDD, Society and Culture, Textiles and Design) but I dropped it and it's down to two, gives me more time to concentrate on the other two and get better marks.
I agree. There is so much content to know that you have to start from now. I try during my free periods but that doesn't seem to work out well :p. And stuff like eco, i guess, has a lot of content as well, so start summarising (and re-summarising)
I get that, I do that as well (Chapter 2, 2.1 then 2.1.1....2.1.2) but what I'm saying is that even though both books follow the syllabus both have totally different wording. Mac will talk abt one thing while Biz in action will say something else
I have a separate textbook, I use the macquarie revision guide cos we haven't received the business studies in action 2nd edition textbook yet cos all the yr 12 hasn't returned it yet BUT we still get to use some in class to write notes. Problem is that the notes I have written from the mac...
thats ok. You don't have to. I know, I agree with you, I don't think I'll be posting my English mark :o. But then again, at least you have a year to make up to it. I was a bit shocked when a very good, Christian friend of mine in maths did poorly in the exam when she ussually does well. It...
ok, now everyone post up their results! :D I'll start off with mine. Now I gotta admit, I didn't go too well but I believe I could've done better with more revision etc. etc.
Business Studies - currently 71% - still awaiting for the extra marks from the tricky questions ;)

When analysing the book/film and putting it in ur essay, it depends whether its part of the question...

Society and Culture
I am going through business stuff these holidays because my teacher tends to talk a lot in a monotone voice and quickly go through each page. He expects us to write notes down in our own...
maybe do what the guys above said, I can't help you really but it has led me to give a copy of what my society and culture teacher gave me. It's not really vocab but it's a sheet that shows you how to link words (conjunctions) in different contexts.
Linking Words (Conjunctions)

I'm not THAT organised nor am I the organisational-type-person  But I am buying separate folders for each of my subjects and filing my notes in there afterwards after a day at school. We've already got My Place by Sally Morgan for english and I've already read that. We're too doing...
