well say if i wanted to do commerce at UNSW. i only got a UAI of 90, then i would only be able to get into economics. My degree would be economics not a b.commerce. but if i paid an extra $10k a year i would be able to get a b.commerce?

4u maths is damm simple, if u can get more than 90 in 2u then do 4unit. its a no brainer. wait till u get to 1st year uni maths. man that is bloody hard. content is as hard as 4u maths, but you have to do it in a faster pace.

what do you think about Direct Fee Courses should be marked that this person completed a degree by Direct Fee Entry Course. I think it should also be amrked on thier degree and also have a special section for them at the graduation ceremony.

what about try a different state? r there easier med courses to get into? eg WA? SA? NT if any?

Now that all the UAI are in, most people would of already made thier final preferences already, though a few would change preferences on the last minute... is there a way to find out what the likely cuttoff will be before January16? phone up the uni?

the thing about repeating is that you dont have to redo every subject. look at the subject where you could improve the 2nd try and redo them. alternatively if u did say 3unit maths, you can do 4unit maths this time. bascially for any subject where u got less than say 85 then it would be worth...

i would say at least 65% of the 4u maths students get a grade of 90+ in 4u maths because of the scaling. i've seen some peoples 4u maths results even if you are in the lowest 40 percentile in 4u maths you get scaled to 90. the lowest mark i have heard of in 4u maths is around 70?? because...

medicine at UNSW u only need a UAI of 95 now +interview. what UAI did you get? even if he gets a higher UAI next year he is not guaranteed a place as it requires an interview. i guess they will still preference those with high UAI's, so even though you require a UAI of 95+ to get an interview...
