Re: UAI Countdown when do the first round offers come out?? thanks
  2. tacogym27101990

has any1 had any assessments yet?

complex numbers isnt the easiest topic in the course it can actually have some of the most challenging questions in the exam if it comes up after Q5 volumes, now that is probably the easiest topic, at least i think so

Fatties have right to extra airline seat

i think the shittest thing is that they still get the same baggage limit as people that aren't fatties. it's not really fair that we can only take 20 kilos of luggage, when they could potentially weigh up to 80+kilos more than us, and they get an extra deat for free. fatties.:vcross:

    differentiation with roots.

    is the first one f(x)= 1/(4x^3) if it is write it as this f(x)=(x^-3)/4 so f'(x)= (-3x^-4)/4 = -3/(4x^4) 2. y= 6(x^.5)-(x^-1/3) using the same index law as before so y'= 6/2*(x^-.5) - -1/3*x^-4/3 =3/sqrtx +1/(x^4/3)

    The quadratic function - Tangent??

its a 4 unit technique but its very easy to pick up and makes these differentiations easier and quicker i guess you can use it in 2 unit
  6. tacogym27101990

    Easy Integration

actually you'll need to use the substitution x=acos@
  7. tacogym27101990

    The quadratic function - Tangent??

haha yeah implicit differentiation. made things so much easier
  8. tacogym27101990

    Who Hates Belonging?

are there subsets in belonging? like imaginative, inner and physical journeys couldn't really imagine what they'd be
  9. tacogym27101990

4u textbooks- i want to buy

its in the wrong place douche thats why no-ones replying

    2008 PHYSICS HSC Paper/thoughts?

physics students dont learn how take air resistance into account, its assumed in hsc physics calculations that it is a "perfect world" with no air resistance

me and my friend got the same ranking for english. is this possible?

yeah it can happen but if you beat him in all the internals or you think you should be above him you should probably ask
  12. tacogym27101990

    Complex Numbers: De Moivres

convert them into mod-arg form then use demoivres theorem on them. ie/ (rcis@)n = rncisn@. then convert back into the form x+iy.
  13. tacogym27101990

How do you find oblique asymptotes?

    isn't because as x >>> inifinity, 1/x becomes negligible
  14. tacogym27101990

    Smh

haha maybe they should make them seperate subjects ie. James Ruse 3 unit maths and non-James Ruse 3 unit maths
  15. tacogym27101990

If you could go back to the beginning of the HSC...

i wouldn't have dropped biology but would have dropped Jap
  16. tacogym27101990

    Smh

so jenecis, you reckon had you been put in the same situation as the ruse kids you would have told the examiners that 15 mins is too much? everyone stop whinging about this shit happens, the ruse kid wouldve beaten you anyway if your stupid enough to still be crying over it
  17. tacogym27101990

How many people are there in your classes?

there were around 140in my year: adv. english: around 60 3 unit maths: 9 4 unit: 2 Jap: 2 Chemistry: like 13 Physics: 18ish
  18. tacogym27101990

3 hours a night is not enough!

ive never understood how people can do 3+ hours of study a night and still not get incredible marks
  19. tacogym27101990

    Quadratic Identities

just equate the coeffiecients cant be bothered to actually do it no maths for a while
  20. tacogym27101990

    Smh
