Wow this thread is dead. ... So... are there any first year humanities students that I will have the pleasure of meeting in some of my lectures/tutorials? I chose all the morning sessions. :)

There will be someone there to talk you through the process, so it doesn't matter if you're unsure about what subjects you're meant to enrol in.

I have my faculty welcome on the 21st from 2-4. Should I go to O-day festivities first and then make my way to the faculty welcome or will o-day still be going after 4?

Hey, at enrolment I was given a set timetable with the option of choosing a morning or afternoon session. Within each session I was also given the option of choosing an earlier tutorial or a later tutorial. E.g. Lec 01 9:00-10:00 tut 10:00-11:00am (1,2,3,4,5) tut 11:30-1:00pm (7,8,9,10,11)...

I haven't enrolled in person yet (but I've accepted my offer and everything) and it still says 'offered'. It will probably change once you go in person.

Re: Getting to know you-(for UTSers only) :p But it doesn't actually have a right clicker. That makes it a problem for people with only 1 hand, and those who are lazy.

What's the different between a course reader and textbooks?

Just a thought - if we get our photos taken for our ID cards at enrolment, do we also get to take it home that day? Because with other universities they tell students to pick it up before o-week, which suggests that there's a waiting period between when the id card is made and when it can be...

I'm probably going by myself to enrolment + orientation + faculty welcome day. No one else from my school is doing anything humanities related at UTS.

Is it necessary/would it be useful attending the faculty welcome day? Because I have orientation on the 20th, faculty welcome is the day after, and I've signed up for the campus tour two days after that... Would the faculty welcome kinda double as a campus tour?

Mine is on the 20th Feb.
