Heh, I would have done well to follow that advice lol - I havn't seen any of the people from our group (including yourself :P) since that catch up day. Personally, I can't say I got much out of the day, but i'm sure for most people, if you keep an open mind it's a great oppurtunity to meet people.

I'm just about to start my second year of this degree. This is likely to just confuse you more, but you can basically do it in order you like. As in you can do half Science/half arts for all 5 years, or focus on one only (Arts OR Science) for the first couple of years. Personally, I did 3 arts...

Finally completed my Hobb collection today with book 3 of the Liveship Traders. Also picked up some more Pratchett last week: Monstrous Regiment and Thief of Time :D

Hmm, I don't get this obsession that everyone has with Vimes. I find the Vimes books to be the most boring of those i've read so far. Death is better, though personally I find the stand-alone books/characters to be the best, like The Truth and Going Postal. Lipwig Von Moist ftw!

Oh, I love the Hobb, i'm just not in the mood for taking on any long intimidating series right now. Plus I found that Palace by Katherine Kerr is dedicated to Tad Williams, who i must say is even better than the Hobb, so I went with that instead :P
