    Looking forward to year 12?

Hm, I can actually work very well if I bothered, but seriously ever since I hit high school, I've just been slacking off. I don't know whether I can get back my studying momentum back in time for Year 12 and HSC. I'm actually quite worried :(

    James Ruse Agricultural High

Not to sound pompous or anything, but that's hardly the case. Not that many people transfer from Baulko to Ruse.

    Looking forward to year 12?

In one short answer, no. I'm hoping to get over Year 12 as soon as possible. Dreading it very much.

Future Plans: What ATAR/course/job are you aiming for?

Re: What UAI/course are you aiming for? Hopefully Arts/Law at USyd, if not Art Theory/Law at UNSW.

    Starting HSC work?

Re: Have you started hsc work yet? I've started a bookmark assessment for Maths and sorta for Chemistry.

    15 units

Yeah okay, 15U is definitely too much. Although if you're going to keep Music as a 'fun' subject for year 12, I'd say you should drop it - it's best if you actually focus on subjects you're serious about.

Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extension 2?

Re: Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extensio When did I ever say my school decided everything for the state? I'm just putting out that the particular school I go to has such contrasting numbers - which may or may not be a good indication.

    Semi-Formal

Haha, who told you that  It was pretty good, better than I expected. Bummer it was in our school hall D: I heard SBHS wasn't bad either :)

    Semi-Formal

Oh that's good then. Now I'm some what looking forward more to it :) At least there'll be good food.

    Need Mathematics help

I'd agree mostly with Aerath, as you may not have a great understanding of what is in the 2U course. However, I do recommend you getting your hands on your school's 2U and 3U Year 11 syllabus, and having a brief read over so you'll know what it's about. It's probably also wise to get a tutor...

Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extension 2?

Re: Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extensio Wow, that's so untrue. Of course anyone can put together a story, but is it going to be any good? No matter how much you try, you need talent, imagination and depth to pull off even a decent story.

    Tough Subjects for HSC 2009

    Isn't that quite the point..?

    Semi-Formal

Sigh, we're having it at some venue in Darling Harbour, called Blackbird Cafe (not too sure of the name). It's about $40, but currently attendance doesn't seem promising. I still haven't gotten a dress. Great.

Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extension 2?

Re: Which subject is more "prestigious" - English Extension 2 or Mathematics Extensio Although Maths Extension 2 does scale better, I do believe English Extension 2 is by far more prestigious. Personally, I think it's much more difficult to do well in - usually there's about 80 or so people who...

    your current favourite song

Forever love - Free Bird by Lynyrd Skynyrd. Guitar solo, much?

    Question about subjects

I would hardly say PDHPE is the hardest subject. 2U Maths is much more challenging by far. Economics is actually not THAT difficult, it is probably on a similar level of difficulty as Modern History (which you have already chosen). I'd advise to choose Economics, as it's a better challenge and...

    Subject Selection Dilemmas (Queries)

Well, here goes my opinion: Modern History - I personally haven't heard of Modern History being accelerated greatly at other schools, and it certainly isn't at mine. However, if subjects ARE accelerated (any subject can be accelerated), it does not mean they don't scale as well. They're often...
